Children & Youth
Hope for Grieving Children is a support group program that provides a safe and supportive environment for children grieving a death. The program encourages the expression of grief, verbally and through creative, positive play within a peer group setting. Sessions are available to grieiving children ages 4 to 16.
Adults
While the children’s group is meeting, the surviving parent, parents or caregivers meet in a separate group. it is an opportunity to share the concerns and fears families and friends are facing and to support one another.
Schedule
Each group meeting will last one and a half hours. The groups meet for five to six sessions in the spring and fall.

Registration
Pre-registration is required. You will need to download and complete the following forms. More information will be posted here once the next group dates have been set.
Financial Support
Participating families are asked to donate $40 per family for the six-session group. Each group meeting will last one and a half hours and will meet six times times over a three month period. All grieving families are welcome to receive program services regardless of ability to pay.
